The practitioner will be guided through mindfulness meditation exercises that incorporate Khayal music and learn how to use music to focus attention and bring awareness to the present moment. The course covers various aspects of music, including vocal techniques, raga theory, and the emotional and spiritual aspects of music. The practitioner will also learn how to use voice to create a meditative experience, and how to connect with the music on a deeper level.
By regularly practising Khayal music, the practitioner develops a heightened sense of awareness and mindfulness, as they learn to be fully present and engaged in the music, both as performers and as listeners. They learn to pay close attention to the nuances of the music, including the subtle changes in pitch, rhythm, and tone, and to express the emotional and spiritual elements of the raga in a way that is both authentic and deeply felt.
The practitioner must practice this offering for 30 min per day, preferably in the early morning.
