You can incorporate learnings by becoming more attuned to shared connection—picking up on cues, adjusting your pace, and staying aligned with others in moments of collaboration or flow.

About the destination

NYC Bhangra at New York is held in a bright, open dance space in midtown Manhattan—designed for energy, flow, and movement. The studio is equipped with clear floors, strong acoustics, and ample space to move freely with others, making it ideal for rhythm-based group classes.

Classes are led by Megha K., a seasoned instructor with over 17 years of global experience in dance and event management. She is a pioneer of Bhangra dance in the US. She founded NYC Bhangra Dance Co. in 2007. Her roots in Punjabi culture and background in hospitality bring a rare blend of precision, warmth, and cultural authenticity to each session.

This experience is structured yet dynamic—set to fast-paced Punjabi folk music, with choreography that requires coordination, repetition, and group alignment. The setting encourages you to stay present, follow cues, and move in rhythm with others. Whether you're a beginner or have danced before, the space is designed to welcome all levels. It's less about performance and more about full-body engagement in a shared, high-energy environment—led by a trusted guide who knows how to keep things structured, joyful, and inclusive.
