Dr. Mahesh Sreedharan is an esteemed Ayurveda scholar and practitioner, hailing from a family with a rich tradition in ancient Indian medical science. His upbringing and education, influenced by his father's teachings, laid the foundation for his deep understanding of Ayurvedic medicine. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Sreedharan has been a trailblazer in the field. He was one of the first to receive a post-graduate degree in Ayurveda and was the first MD of Oushadi, a government-run pharmaceutical company. He was also one of the first senior physicians to be awarded a fellowship from the National Academy for Ayurveda. Additionally, he served as the director of the Panchakarma department at Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s World Centre for Ayurveda near New Delhi in 1994 and founded the Mitra Ayurvedic Research Centre in Trivandrum. Combining traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with modern healthcare management, Dr. Sreedharan’s expertise has helped establish Mitra Hermitage Ayurveda Hospital as one of India's leading Ayurvedic institutions.
