About the specialist

Gurukkal Dr. S. Mahesh, a fifth-generation martial arts guru and expert in Kalaripayattu, upholds a 127-year legacy in the Thekkan Sampradayam tradition. With a Ph.D. on the “Influence of Kalaripayattu in curing systems,” he has empowered over 15,000 women and professionals through programs like Nalludal (Indian Martial Art), Prana (breath control), and Shakthi (self-defense). As the founder of Agasthyam Gurukulam, he integrates Kalaripayattu, Siddha healing, and meditation to promote holistic living, offering accessible online and offline training. Recognized with the Indian Army’s “Medal of Excellence,” Dr. Mahesh co-leads India’s first research center for Kalaripayattu and Siddha traditions. His innovative Kundalini Yoga for Immunity blends Kalaripayattu movements with meditation to awaken energy, boost self-awareness, and enhance immunity, fostering psycho-physical transformation and a fearless, health-conscious society.

  • Chuvadu 2 practice - building upon the skills learned in Chuvadu 1 and introduces new techniques, combinations, and strategies

  • Chuvadu 3 practice - introduction to more advanced techniques, combinations, and strategies compared to the previous chuvadu sequences
