About the specialist

Jothi Senthil Kannan is a distinguished figure in the world of traditional Indian martial arts, particularly in the realms of Silambam and Kuthuvarisai. He has devoted his life to mastering and promoting these ancient martial art forms. From the young age of five, Jothi Senthil Kannan began his journey under the guidance of his paternal grandfather, immersing himself in the rigorous practice of Silambam and Kuthuvarisai. Over the years, his dedication and discipline have elevated him to the esteemed position of a Grand Master (Aasan), performer, international referee, and coach. He is the General Secretary and Founder of the International Silambam and Kuthuvarisai Federation and a registered Siddha healer. Jothi's dedication to preserving and promoting these ancient arts has made him a cultural ambassador, with his contributions extending to Europe and beyond.
