This course includes personalised guidance designed to incorporate Ayurvedic principles of food compatibility and mindful eating practices to promote optimal health and wellbeing. The practitioner will learn about the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to identify foods that are compatible with their individual constitutions. They will also learn about the energetics of food and how different foods can affect their mental and emotional states. The course focus is not only on food combination or food compatibility, but also emphasises on the quantities or the amount in which two foods can be taken, the ingredients that can be added to them to get the best out of them, the kind of recipes to make out of them, the different ways in which they can be cooked fried/roasted/steamed to bring out their best qualities. All of this leads to being mindful during mealtime.
The practitioner will gain a deeper understanding of their relationship with food and how to use food as a tool for cultivating greater mindfulness and wellbeing. They will learn practical tools and techniques for making healthy food choices, building a sustainable and nourishing diet, and developing a mindful and conscious approach to eating. They will also go through a bit of unlearning to gain a fresh perspective and observe subtle changes in the body and mind during the journey.
Practitioners will learn how to identify foods that are compatible with each other and their individual constitutions and then implement them in their daily life.
